Terms & Conditions

1. About Us

Fast Bowlers Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales. We provide cricket fast bowling coaching services, video analysis reports, biomechanical assessments (in partnership with DineticQ), and produce the Science & Shiney podcast. Our contact email is scienceandshiney@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, contacting us to enquire about services, submitting video footage, or purchasing any package, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

If you are purchasing on behalf of a minor (under 18), the parent or legal guardian accepts these terms on the minor's behalf and takes full responsibility for compliance.

3. Services

We offer the following coaching packages (pricing available on request):

• Level 1 — Video Analysis Report: Submission of two video clips (rear and open-side angle); delivery of a voiceover coaching report.
• Level 2 — PaceFlow Biomechanics Report: Lab-based biomechanical analysis provided in partnership with DineticQ, with optional Fast Bowlers Ltd voiceover coaching. Payment for PaceFlow reports is made directly to DineticQ.
• Level 3 — Personal Coach Subscription: Monthly subscription providing 4 video analysis sessions and 1 voice/video call per month with a named coach.
• Level 4 — 1:1 In-Person Session: One-hour in-person coaching at a venue provided by the client, inclusive of agreed travel expenses.

All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our discretion.

4. Bookings & Payment

All bookings are confirmed by email following an enquiry. Payment terms will be confirmed at the point of booking. Payment must be received in full before services are delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For Level 2 (PaceFlow), payment is made directly to DineticQ via their platform. Fast Bowlers Ltd is not responsible for DineticQ's payment terms, refund policies, or service delivery for the biomechanical report element.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Level 1 & 2: Once coaching work has commenced on your footage, no refund will be issued. If we have not started work, a full refund is available within 48 hours of payment.
• Level 3 (Subscription): You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No partial-month refunds are issued.
• Level 4 (In-Person): Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days will be charged at 50% of the package price. No-shows will be charged in full.

6. Video Footage Submissions

By submitting video footage to Fast Bowlers Ltd, you confirm that:

• You own or have the right to share the footage submitted.
• If the footage features a minor, you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and provide explicit consent for the footage to be processed for coaching purposes.
• The footage will be used solely for the purpose of delivering your coaching report and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• You will not submit footage that features any other identifiable individual without their consent.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including the Science & Shiney podcast, logo, episode audio, coaching reports and written materials, is the intellectual property of Fast Bowlers Ltd and may not be reproduced, shared or distributed without our express written permission.

9. Third Party Services

Our website may contain links to third-party sites including DineticQ and Buzzsprout. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of those platforms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Fast Bowlers Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our coaching services. Contact: scienceandshiney@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

• Contact data: Name, email address, submitted via our enquiry form.
• Enquiry data: Your coaching preferences, player information and any details shared in your message.
• Video footage: Clips submitted for video analysis and coaching reports. This is personal data and may constitute sensitive data where it relates to a minor.
• Payment data: We do not store payment card data. Payments are processed via third-party providers.
• Communications: Records of correspondence between you and Fast Bowlers Ltd.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

• Contract performance: To deliver the coaching service you have purchased.
• Legitimate interests: To manage our business, respond to enquiries and improve our services.
• Consent: Where you have given explicit consent — in particular, for processing video footage of a minor, we rely on explicit parental/guardian consent.

4. Processing Video Footage of Minors

Where you submit video footage of a player under the age of 18:

• The parent or legal guardian must provide explicit written consent before footage is submitted or processed.
• Footage of minors will be used only for the purpose of delivering the coaching report.
• Footage of minors will not be shared with any third party (except DineticQ where a Level 2 package has been purchased and consent explicitly given) and will not be used for marketing, social media or any other purpose without separate explicit consent.
• Footage of minors will be deleted from our systems within 30 days of the coaching report being delivered, unless you request otherwise in writing.

5. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to your enquiry and manage your booking.
• To deliver your coaching report or subscription services.
• To communicate about your services, including updates and scheduling.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We will not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your consent, and we will never sell your data to third parties.

6. Data Sharing

We may share your data with:

• DineticQ: Where you purchase a Level 2 PaceFlow package, relevant data and footage is shared with DineticQ for biomechanical analysis. DineticQ operates its own privacy policy.
• Our coaches: Your footage and report information is shared with the coach assigned to your case, who is bound by confidentiality.
• Legal authorities: Where required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your contact and enquiry data for up to 2 years from your last interaction with us, after which it is securely deleted. Video footage is deleted within 30 days of report delivery unless you have a Level 3 subscription, in which case it is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at scienceandshiney@gmail.com.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Video footage is stored securely and access is restricted to personnel who need it to deliver your service.

All views, opinions and commentary expressed by hosts and guests are their own personal views and do not necessarily represent the views of Fast Bowlers Ltd, any cricket board, team, employer or affiliated organisation.
